HVAC and Custom Sheet Metal fabrication:
Northern Air System’s comprehensive, customer-centered sheet metal and structural steel shop harnesses all the advantages presented by its highly competent Local 46 designers, welders and fabricators, teamed with state-of-the-art computer-controlled fabricating equipment and job quoting software.
Our shop utilizes leading edge quoting software, integrated with a bar code scanning/printing system, to ensure an accurate material lists and reliable order fulfillment. The shop turns out square duct to rigorous SMACNA standards; our coil line can produce TDC or slip & drive end treatments. Duct can be ordered with Pittsburgh or Snap-Lock seams, as put-together, or knock-down. All duct and fittings are made of G-90 galvanized metal – stringent specs for a quality end-product.
Other production capacities include the fabrication of spiral pipe and fittings: couplings, reducers, take-offs, adjustable elbows and gored elbows, up to 42”. All products are available in stainless, galvanized or galvanneal. Finally, Northern Air Systems offers fully customized metal work – the fabrication of structural steel, stainless, and aluminum, roof curb and curb adaptors, all produced at the hands of certified welders and fabricators.
